Hey Fred, long time no see. What have you been up to?
I have to start thinking about career paths.
Well, do you have any ideas of what you want to do?
I don't really know.
What do you like to do?
Well... I'm good at math and science.
Maybe you should look into being an engineer.
I'll have to see. What do you do?
I'm an electrical engineer.
That sounds interesting. What do you do?
Come see.
Okay!
Here's my office. In here I spend most of my time like many electrical engineers, but I sometimes have to go out into the field.
I develop, test, and design electrical equipment and systems.
What do you do?
You can become an electrical engineer by getting a bachelor's degree at a college in electrical engineering.
How can I become one?
The median pay for electrical engineers is about $87,000, and the demand for electrical engineers will always grow because of new technologies.
I hate to ask this, but what does the pay look like?
Thank you for the advice!
Of course! I'm glad I could help.
