- Yeah, I was running late because I had to pick up some course selection forms coming up later this week.
- Speaking of course selection, my careers teacher assigned a quick survey to determine our top 3 multiple intelligences.
- What do you mean by multiple intelligences? We are kind of running late for our next class so let’s start walking.
- Hey, I didn’t see you in the halls this morning so I went straight to my careers class. Where were you?
- MI is a theory used to determine various ways students learn and acquire information. My survey results state my multiple intelligences are logical/mathematical, intrapersonal, and Musical.
- I’m really taking these results into consideration for the career path I want to take in the future. We only have this week for grade 12-course selection so I need to determine what I want to pursue and relate it with my personal life and interests.
- Oh wow I wonder what categories I’m intelligent in.
- Yea same here. I just remembered that we are getting our mathematics tests back today!
- Those were amazing memories. I hardly ever use a calculator because I learned the times' table at such a young age. I guess math has always been my strongest subject.
- I got a 100% on this math test. I’m really proud of myself even though it wasn’t hard at all and I barely studied.
- I’ve always done good in math and I love working with numbers. I find equations and anything related to numbers and expressions super easy and I enjoy subjects that use the trial and error method.
- The survey was right! You are very intelligent logically and mathematically.
- Remember when you got 100% on both the grade 9 mathematics exam and summative. Even when you mastered every grade 9 science unit test.
- MATH CLASS
- Maybe I should take majority mathematics courses next year to become a high school math teacher.
- I’m already sold. It would be great to work with people and solve problems in the real world with actual people rather than how many watermelons Jake has left.
- I had no idea you were interested in education. How come?
- I mean, I’d love to work with students like myself. Math has always come naturally to me so it would be hard to teach. I would spend my days teaching math and helping kids learn logically.
- What about a banker or financial advisor?
- You would be great at any of those occupations. You love working with people and numbers and thinking logically. That was a great conversation. I have to go to my next class now. Bye!
- Basically means that I can clearly understandmy feelings and thoughts. This assignment should be fairly easy given the fact that I constantly come up with new ideas.
- No not really. The English assignment is about an event that means a lot to us and I’m very good at communicating my feelings. A survey I took earlier said I was intrapersonal intelligent.
- Hey are you nervous about the next assignment. It’s an in-class summative and I always mess up on those.
- Well, that went great! How do you think you did?
- That was awful. I spent the whole night brainstorming about the event of my choice and I couldn’t think of anything meaningful and expressive. My thoughts wejjre all over the place.
- Well you always have next time. I organized my thoughts and emotions I was feeling very well and I got a clear message out of it.
- I bet you my lunch money that Mr. Whittaker will use your assignment as the ideal example. In middle school, you got the reward for best student in the English subject. Oh, he’s coming now.
