A seies of acts that were taxing the American colonies on there imports.This was starting to show the American colonies how much Britain abuses their power.
Salutary Neglect- 1775

A protest where American coonist dressed up as native Americans and threw tea into the port.This gave them their first taste for revolution and fighting back.

A list of acts meant to punish the American colonists after the Boston Tea Party.This shows the American colonists that they will be punished for showing there might and right to fight back.
As long as the colonys stayed loyal the crown would be more lax on rule enforcement.This showed the America's that they could fight back and it would succeed
A book made by Thomas Paine, that challenged the British government and there power over them.This gave them confidence that they would be fine
