Sarah Breedlove (Madam C.J. Walker) was born Dec 23rd,1867. She started as a child of sharecroppers to one of the first self-made successful women/entrepreneurs
Sarah became a commission agent for Annie Malone and sold her products and also learned a lot from her.Because of skin disorders Sarah suffered from dandruff, baldness and etc. She decided to sell hair products and Malone got mad because she said her formula.

Sarah was orphaned at age seven and worked in cotton fields in Delta and Mississippi to support herself
She would always say she would give herself the life she wanted
After her and her 2 year old daughter moved to St. Louis where she met her second husband Charles J Walker whom she got her worldwide known name Madame C.J Walker

Madame C.J Walker opened up a factory, salons, and beauty schools to train agents. By 1917 her and her company trained nearly 20,000 women
