- His way to avoid the discrimination was to read at the university library. He never enjoyed reading but in Canada he would read frequently, but one day he picked up a book on the Ramayana.

- For the first time, he enjoyed mythology. The part in which Ram got banished spoke to him in a different way. He could relate to it...
