To raise funds to pay off War Debts, Britain decided to tax the American colonsist on items that they coudlnt manufacture themselves. In addition to the extra high taxes it was mandatory to buy the goods from England. This was passed and knowdn as the Stamp Act. After colonsitis were fed up with this they would boycott British goods. These items consists of, paper, playing cards, and printed materials.

There were multiple laws that had push colonists over the edge. The Declaratory Act, Townshend Revenue Act, Quartering Act. There all were know as the Intolerable Acts. After this some colonists dressed up as indians and dumped tons of tea into the boston harbor, this was called the boston tea party.
