Öykü Penceresi Metni

  • Scene 1: Scrooge's Office
  • Uncle, you should come to Christmas dinner with my family!
  • What's the point of celebrating. Christmas is a waste anyway!
  • Scene 2: Marley's Visit
  • Ebenezer, you need to change or you will end up like me.
  • What will happen to me?!
  • Scene 3: Spirit of Christmas Past
  • Because of your greed, you let go of someone you love.
  • No. I can't marry you then.
  • I don't have money, but I have love. Isn't that good enough for you?
  • Is Tiny Tim going to die? He shouldn't. He can't.
  • Scrooge and Cratchit are working when Scrooge's nephew Fred comes and invites him to Christmas dinner. He declines because he thinks celebrating is a waste of time. Then a visitor comes and asks for donations for the poor but Scrooge does not give him anything. Cratchit then proceeds to ask Scrooge for Christmas day off and he reluctantly gives it to him.
  • Scene 4: Spirit of Christmas Present
  • "Well then they should die and decrease the surplus population."
  • Go to sleep children. Christmas is tomorrow.
  • Scrooge is getting ready for bed on Christmas Eve when the ghost of his old partner Jacob Marley comes to see him. He is being weighed down by the chains of his greed. Marley warns Scrooge about what his actions will bring to him in the future and tells him he will be haunted by three spirits.
  • Scene 5: Spirit of Christmas Future
  • They don't even care that I'm gone!
  • You know, I've always wanted those cuff links he always wore.
  • The Spirit of Christmas Past comes to visit Scrooget. He takes Scrooge back to when he was young at his boarding school where he was alone during Christmas. Then they go see Ebenezer's old boss, Fezziwig. Scrooge also sees himself dancing with his sweetheart, whom he let go of because she couldn't bring any money to the marriage.
  • Scene 6: Scrooge's Conversion
  • Merry Christmas to everyone!
  • And a happy new year!
  • The spirit of Christmas Past takes Scrooge to the Cratchit house where he sees them suffering and sees that his employee's son is sick. He feels compassion for the first time in what feels like forever. When Scrooge asks why and how they are living like this, the spirit repeats his very controversial words to him and disappears.
  • The spirit of Christmas Future does not speak at all. He simply takes Scrooge to his house in the future. Scrooge sees his servants taking his stuff when he has passed away and sees them not even caring that he is dead. Then he goes to the Cratchit house and sees that Tiny Tim has also passed away because of his sickness and feels very sad.
  • Let's go check his closet for stuff!
  • Scrooge woke up on Christmas morning and felt a wave of happiness and excitement. He told a boy on the street to get the biggest turkey he could find to deliver to the Cratchit's. He was overflowing with generosity. Then he went to celebrate Christmas with the Cratchit's, his nephew Fred and his family, and of course Tiny Tim.
