In Paleolithic times, things were definetly not easy. This man here is trying to make a fire work, but he does not have the passed down knowledge of how to make one.
In paleolithic times, people had to make their own tools with stones they find.They would have to labor away at each one, carefully chipping away at it to make it the right size to do the right job.
Also, they would have to fight and kill huge animals like this giant sloth, to get food for their small communities.
When the Neolithic Revolution happened, everything became easier for humans. People now had time to do non-survival activities, like creating sites like the Stonehenge.
Also, trade was beginning to happen, meaning that people could get a widespread variety of tool, ornaments, etc. They could trade for dyed wool, as shown in this picture.
Also, they now had accessability to enjoyment, such as games, dances, and falconry, as shown below. The reason they could do this was that they had communities that could protect each person within it, so that no one had to fight and survive at the brink.
