- Siddartha's mother gave birth to siddhartha without feeling any pain, he was about the size of a 2 year old and had way more abilities than regular babies.
- the king (siddartha's father) didn't want him see any sign of suffering in which he kept siddartha at home unable to see the outside world. he was told that if he saw suffering then he would not become king.
- this isnt right
- siddartha was not happy living like a prisoner and decided to go out into the world to see the four sights.
- after seeing the four signs, siddartha decides people living like this is not fair. and so he cuts his hair and lives as a poor sick man.
- after a few years, he realises this is not the way to live and that a life between luxury and poor is probably the best option.
- he sat under a bodhi tree and meditated, attempting to find the truth. gradually as morning came he saw things in a different way, he became enlightened and the supreme Buddah.
