- Crazy Horse and Chief Red Cloud were also native leaders. They fought many battles against the US fighting for the land they lived on and loved.
- They were both arrested and sentenced to years in prison.
- York was Merriwether Lewis' "Black Manservant". He served them on the journey out west and helped out with all the challenges.
- He was given freedom after the expedition but died of Cholera in 1832.
- Now do you see why Manifest Destiny wasn't good?
