Athens' Government
Here in Athens our government is a democracy, meaning us citizens can vote. We're the first to ever do this.
Athen's Economy and Education
For our economy we depend on trade a lot. Education is very important to us here. Boys go to school to become great leaders and philosophers, while girls go to school to learn how to take care of the house.
Athen's Women and Slaves
Women here aren't very important. Women take care of the house and aren't allowed to fight. Slaves are used for agrigulture. On average, there's 3 to 4 slaves per household, except for in poor families. Slaves are legally prohibited from participating in politics.
Sparta's Government
Here in Sparta our government is a oligarchy; we're ruled by two kings.
Sparta's Economy and Education
For our economy we depend on farming and conquering other people. Education isn't important here. Boys are trained from an early age to beocme great warriors. It is required for boys to be in the army. Girls have to be fit aswell.
Sparta's Women and Slaves
Women here get the same training as boys. Women have to be fit so they can later on have fit and healthy children. Slaves work on our land and produce agricultural products for their masters. Their masters can't free nor sell them. Slaves have limited rights to accumulate property.
