Hello! My name is Rebekah Tiong. I am seventeen years old. I am Chinese and I live in Hong Kong, with my mother. We live in a small home, with little on the table.
Many are attempting to move to Canada. Hong Kong's natural disasters are growing worse every time a new one takes a toll. The crops are poor and becoming more scarce every year.
There is a lack of opportunity in Hong Kong. The unemployment rates are high. I have moved from job to job, but I never stay for long. Sometimes I do not even receive a position!
But the main, and most important reason is my mother is very sick. I cannot receive the proper medicine for her in Hong Kong, but I can if I work hard in Canada.
