Unknown Story

This is how the story starts off and the Bittering family is moving to Mars for the purpose of colonizing it.
When the Bitterings first get on Mars Harry is the only one that's ready to leave already but they don't. When they get into town for the first time they start building a white cottage and the next morning have a good breakfast but the fear is still there.
In this part of the story Harry is asking for people to help him/give him the tools to build a rocket. Only one person gives him blueprints and tools because the rest of the people are okay with living on Mars.
In this scene this is where Harry finds out that they are all starting to change into what the other people look like. They're starting to grow taller and their eyes are changing colors and starting to learn martian words
The man leaped out and yelled "We won the war on earth were here to save you." But then he realizes that nobody is there and ends up walking into town.
The captain was telling the guy all the things that they could do like the Washington Canal and Lincoln Mountains but he wasn't focusing on that. " The lieutenant snapped his gaze from the blue color and the quiet mist of the hills." "What? Oh, yes sir!"
