- Sir Jonas, is a charming, funny, charismatic knight. He has been a knight since he was 21 years old. His father was one, and his father's father was also one. It was a family tradition for all males to become knights. It was time for Jonas to leave again, every time this happened his beloved wife would say, Goodbye honey, until we meet again, and he would say, Goodbye my beloved, it won't be long.

- Whenever Sir Jonas would arrive at the castle, an instant gloom came over him. Work had never been fun. In fact, he detested it. Nobody paid his thoughts or ideas any attention. While he has thought about the possibility of leaving many times, he knew the backlash from his father would be unbearable. So he would at all of their many meetings try to speak, but of course, it was to no avail.

- As three seasons came and went, he continued to be ignored. One day in late winter, he spoke up. When he did, still nobody listened. Enough was enough, that night he went to his room in the castle and contemplated why he did what he did. He came up with, for the country, I enjoy it, and because my father wants me to. He had done this multiple times before, but this time it did not soothe him. He decided to quit, and finally accept himself for who he was, a baker. He has always loved baking but never had the time. Now he could finally do what he loved.
- He waited until the snow ceased then began the long journey home. His father was not pleased with him, but he knew he would never have been happy living that life. So he rode home to his wife and children.
- Overall, Sir Jonas was very happy with his decision. Not to say that there was not some chaos involved in everyday life, but he loved every minute of it. He and his wife's business did very well, and the Popper family is expecting a little one shortly.
