Around the World

Hi my name is Leslie abd I am going on an adventure around the world to see and learn more about the different types of economic systems.
Germany
The first place I stopped was in East Germany which is an example of command economy. I learened in Germany that command economys are when resources are owned and controlled by the goverenment.
United States
The next place I traveled too was the United States which is an example of a mixed economy. A mixed ecnomy consists of both private and goverment owned resources that share control of owning, selling, and exchanging goods in the country.
Japan
Up next I traveled to Japan which is an example of a market economy. Which is when resources are owned and controlled by the people of the country. Economic decisions and the pricing of goods and services arenot up to the government.
Canada
The last place I visited was Canada which is an example of a traditional econmy. Which is when goods and services are produced the same way it has always been. The customs and traditions are the elements tht determine the way trade and commerce are performed.
