- Andrew was a newly graduated medical practitioner who had to help in bringing Joe and Susan’s child into this world despite going through a tough time with his girlfriend Christine.
- Falling Action
- They heard the voice of the midwife calling them. Andrew saw that it’s already 3:30 and that he shall begin with the procedure. Thus, he got up to go to the bedroom upstairs.
- Resolution
- The birth was a long struggle, the Morgans' baby was a stillborn, both the mother and child were in critical condition. Andrew had to decide whom to attend: the child or the mother. He decided to attend to the mother first and handed the stillborn to the midwife.
- After saving the mother, he shifted his focus onto the stillborn. He tried various unique respiration methods. There was no hope. Just as it was a miracle, the baby began breathing and Andrew worked on reviving him with double the efforts until the baby breathed deeply.
- In the end, Joe and Susan's baby survived and Andrew felt like he finally accomplished something.
