Late at night sometime in June (so it´s really hot) Harper Raine moves into a new, old-haunted looking house. alongside her is her brother, who ´ s sad he cant hang out with his old friends, and her mom.

Plot
As shes taking a walk, late at night. She sees a floating, see-through looking thing, it appears to be a ghost! Thats when the spirit gets confused as she can see him. he explains that shes one of the spirit hunters

RISING ACTION
The spirit tells her the thing making her brother mad and violent is the figure in his room. it was thee ghost of a boy who was pushed into a well and laughed at by many, She has to slay it as shes the spirit hunter.

CLIMAX
Shes in the room, she starts to fight the monster.Shes losing, the monster is overpowering her, but the love for her brother gives her sword powers and she defeats the monster. her brother and life is back to normal... she can still see ghosts

Mood
the story pays a lot of attention to her brother because the demon in her brothers room is changing his mood and making him more aggresive.

setting
this book takes place in new jersey, the weather can be cold or hot and the rent is decent. The house is an old house owned by a scientist who made ¨ghost-seeing¨ potions.
