A 12 year old child named Jerome was shot in the public park. We know that a cop shot him because he had a gun. In the beginning he is telling the story while he is dead
Jerome had a funeral and the ghost boy told him not to go in the church. one thing caught Jerome attention which was Carlos giving Jerome's grandma something and she smiled for a second. Jerome was wondering what was in the letter and what can make his grandma smile at his funereal even only for one second.
Later in the story you will learn that Carlos gave Jerome a toy gun that the cop though was a really gun and shot Jerome. this is like a flashback to when he was alive.
Jerome's parents went to court. Jerome's mother was sad, everyone was. Jerome had to sit there watching his mother silently crying and this grandma trying to comfort her. on the jury stands he can see Sarah and her mother. he had never seen his dad so mad before.
Jerome, Sarah and the ghost boy looked out the window and saw hundreds maybe thousands of shadows, they looked closer and fingered out that they were other ghost boys!!
One day he met this white girl named Sarah that was about his age. The weird thing is that she is the daughter of the cop that shot Jerome. She was sort of special because she can see him. Jerome blamed her for his death
