- A greenbelt is a ring of land maintained as parks, agriculture, or other types of open space to limit the sprawl of an urban area. This image is an example of greenbelt because it's full of agriculture and has no urban areas inside of it. An example of greenbelt is Golden State park in San Francisco.
- Tenement
- A suburb is an outlying district of a city that is residential. The image correlates with a suburb because it's a residential neighborhood that doesn't seem to be exactly inside of a city. Gainesville Georgia is an suburb of Atlanta.
- Gentrification
- A Central Business District is the downtown heart of a central city usually easily spotted by high land values, a lot of business and commerce, and clustered tall buildings. This image is an example of CBD because there seems to be a lot of clustered buildings and lots of businesses. There also seems to be many cars and people walking around which is popular in CBD. Midtown Manhattan in NYC is an example of CBD.

- A tenement is a building in which several families rent rooms or apartments, often with little sanitation or safety. The image represents tenement because it seems to be low income family who's renting a room that's not in the best condition. Tenements were mostly found in New York in the early 1800s.
- Gentrification is the restoration of run down urban areas by the middle class. The image represents gentrification because old homes usually used to be built close together so it seems like those old homes have been renovated into newer looking models. New York City as a whole is a good example of gentrification since so many old homes are now turning into the nicest homes in the city.
- A rural area is an area relating to the countryside. This image relates to an rural area because they'res not much/any urban area around it and its surrounded by agriculture and livestock which is something you will not find in a city. 5707 Bennett Road in Chico is a great example of an rural area.
