Beginning

Mrs. Scheerer informs Dexter that Irene isn't feeling very well. He decides to return to the University Club.
Irene has a bad headache tonight...she says she'll join you for golf in the morning.
Dexter is now seen in the club lounge. He acknowledges a few of his acquaintances with a tired nod. Faint music can be heard coming from the dancers' stage.
A door creaks open behind him, and a familiar voice calls out to Dexter. The background comes into focus, revealing Judy in shining attire. Dexter visibly tries to conceal his excitement.
When did you get back?
Hello, darling.
The two decide to catch up during a drive through town. Dexter offers to take his red coupe. The street is deserted, and the sound of laughter and clinking glasses is heard.
University Club
Let's go for a drive...I'll tell you everything.
Judy opens up to Dexter, telling him that she still wants to marry him. She breaks down in tears. The camera zooms in on Dexter's sullen face as the wind whips at his hair.
Why can't I be happy too?
The scene ends at Judy's place. The camera pans back to reveal Dexter entering the estate as rain begins to fall, signifying the end of his relationship with Irene.
