  • In this scene, John is informating management that he has confirmed with the employees that a meeting is being held and they agree to it. It is important for John to always keep the employees upated on every single step that is being taken because this concerns them.
  • Great, we will be there tomorrow.
  • In this scene, the representatives of both the management and employees are present the the meeting is about to commence, this is the point in deadlock negotiation where everyone needs to compromise in order for a suitable resolution to be found.
  • In this scene the two parties are yet again tryig to find a solution. Now that management is aware of how the employees feel about their working conditions, management needs to have a solid solution that can assist with these matters.
  • So what is management proposing regarding these issues?
  • In this scene, management is compromising by reducing the number of hours in which employees work, since this was the cause of employees sleeping at work. This is the only compromise that managment is pressenting which is very risky as the employees have stated a number of issues they have.
  • We are willing to ensure that employees work the minimum 8 hours
  • In this scene, John is explaining to management that there is still a number of issues that need to be solved, they however do accept the 8 hours protocol and request that wokers be compensated for their overtime work.
  • There is still more issues to deal with.
  • In this scene, both parties have decided to compromise, as much as there are still a lot of issues to deal with, management has promised to take it one step at a time as it cannot solve all the issues in one go. It is the Trade Unions mandate to ensure that management keeps their promise and to also keep pushing for management to solve these employee issues. The employees go home with knowing that they will be comoensated for their overtime and that their working hours will be cut to assist iwith fatigue. However employees were unable to negotiate for a raise.
