- Pages 1: we start focused on the storefront. We have a narration that introduces the plight of Neville. "Neville was a simple meerkat who was entering yet another terrible Christmas season. His past seasons had brought nothing but terrible things."
- Page 2 goes into the department store. We see the christmas village in the corner with people shopping around it. His work, friends, and family had always disappointed them with their selfish motivations and expectations
- Page 3 The Christmas village now appears as a standalone village with a glimpse of the store itself in the background. Perhaps the store christmas tree and a customer checking out. We are centered on Neville's apt. building. We see him in a window. His problem may have been that he lived in the center of all things terrible about Christmas Denton's department store.
- Page 4 We're now in Neville's apartment. He's getting ready in the mirror. I feel like we should make him kind of beatniky and off kilter. I think that might drive some of the other stories. Still, this year, none of those past christmas' mattered. This year was going to be different. Because Neville wasn't going to let anything crap on his Christmas spirit
- Page 5 We're in Neville's living room. There's a christmas tree with no presents underneath. It looks a little sad. Decor is sparse. Very evident it's a bachelor pad. He sits at his couch pen and pad in hand. cup of coffee on the coffee table. This year was going to be perfect in fact, he had the perfect tree and soon he would have the perfect gifts. He's finishing up his list just now. Yes, it would be perfect this year.

- Page 6 We're at the store Neville has finished ringing up with ragged cashier. An angry customer is shouting at the cashier as Neville walks toward the door. Until he got to the store.
- Not everone celebrates Christmas! Racist!

- Page 7 Outside of the store. There is a bell ringer and a family coming up on the bell ringer. He rushed outside hoping to get away from the negativity. And happily gave a dollar to the Salvation Army ringer.
- Page 8. Same scene. Neville is walking away. Family gets the the bell ringer and they look angry. But it really wasn't much better.
- Lengthy argument about the principles of teach a man to fish and stuff.
- Communist!
- You oughta be ashamed!
- Page 9. Neville's trudging home in the snow. he looks a little down, but not beaten. Starts to break into a positive grin. There's a car approaching from the right. As he rushed home to wrap his christmas gifts he reminded himself that the ignorant actions of others can't hurt him. And that this year christmas would be...
- I'm a CAR!
- Page 10. The car had rushed by and now Neville is covered in snow. Perfect.
- Page 10. He's back at home in his bathroom. Getting pretty. Back at home, gifts wrapped and safely tucked under the tree, Neville began preparing for his next Christmas obstacle. The work christmas party.
- Page 5 Neville's on the way out the door. He slips a small wrapped packaged into his pocket. We can see the tag. It says "Julie" or something. Despite his feelings toward his coworkers. He was anxious to get to the party. He had high hopes for tonight.
