- The people of France are upset that they will never have equal reprentation in the Estates General. The meet seperately and vow, called the Tennis Court Oath, to create a new constitution
- Common People of France- We will become the National Assembly. Today we vow to create a nation of individual citizens and not a kingdom of subjects.

- The People of France take over the Bastille Armory July 14 1789. The French Revolution offically begins

- This document gives all men equality and a government for the people that protects the rights of the people

- In 1793, King Louis is Beheaded and the monarcy is replaced with a republic
- Today is the fall of the Monarchy. King Louis XVI. We sentence you to death by Guillotine

- The French Revolution goes on for 5 years. The Reign of Terror finally ends In 1791 with the Rise in power of the French General Napoleon Bonaparte
