But sir the colonists will get mad and start buying things that dont have taxes
we are in big debt from the cost of the war so iputting taxes on the colonists will be a good way to raise money!

( im saying the rest of the story like this because i dont have enough slides) after all the king ignored the first meeting so it was decided that the congress should reconvene. representatives from all 13 colonies arrived and discussions began. at first the problem was going to be solved peacefully, and great britian would change some of their rules and laws. when that didnt happen, the reprensentatives knew that the american people had enough and its time to declare freedom from great britian.the end.
