Practice Makes Perfect!

One day Tyler was bored at home an needed something to do for the day.
Mom, Im really bored and I have nothing to do!
It's nice outside son, Why don't you go play a sport outside
So he decided to go play basketball and he was really excited to shoot because it was his favourite sport.
But he stayed for almost an hour and never made a single shot. so He decided to go try a different sport.
So he decided to try Soccer and even though he doesn't like it as much as basketball he still tried it.
After an hour of playing soccer outside it had started to get dark and he still hadn't scored a goal and was furious so he went home.
He was so sad that he wasn't good at either sport, on his was homehe started crying
His Mom could tell that he didn't have a bad day when he went straight to his room when he went home, so she decided to go talk to him
Mom, I'm not good at any sport, I quit!
Son, everything takes practice. Just because you're not good at first doesn't mean you'll never be good. You can't quit just because of that. So tomorrow your goingto go back and try again
After his Mom's speech to him, he felt more motivated the next day to go back outside and get better.
He decided to try basketball again and after practising for a while he finally scored and it made him want to play for hours!
Before he went home he wanted to try soccer again and even though he missed a few, he finally scored a goal and he realised his Mom was right. Everything takes practice.
