Toiminnan Yleiskatsaus
Osa opiskelijana olemisesta tekee virheitä. Toisinaan opiskelijat haastetaan tai he kohtaavat esteitä. Esteistä on helppo muuttaa tekosyitä, mutta niiden ylittäminen on tärkeä taito elämälle. Virheiden tunnistaminen on vasta ensimmäinen osa; heiltä oppiminen on tärkeämpää. Opiskelijat voivat viipyä virheistään, vaikka ne vaikuttaisivat merkityksettömiltä muille, ja tämä voi johtaa siihen, että he eivät halua ottaa positiivisia riskejä tai kokeilla jotain uutta. Tärkeää on harjoitella ja ymmärtää, että virheet ovat osa elämää.
Tässä toiminnassa opiskelijat kääntävät virheet oppimiskokemukseen. Yksilöllisesti opiskelijat voivat käyttää omia virheitä, koska vain he ja opettaja näkevät heidän kuvakäsikirjoituksensa, mutta jos tätä käytetään ryhmä- tai kumppanitoimintana, opiskelijat saattavat haluta luoda esimerkkejä oman kokemuksensa ulkopuolella. Tässä tapauksessa voi olla hyödyllistä, että opettaja antaa useita virheitä, joista oppilaat voivat valita, ja keskustella siitä, kuinka muuttaa jokainen positiiviseksi oppimiskokemukseksi.
