Aktivitetsoversikt
For å få studenter til å tenke på konsekvenser først når de blir møtt med en beslutning, må de øve på prosessen med å ta beslutninger. Belønningssystemet er utviklet i hjernen deres, men ikke konsekvensaspektet blant tenåringer. Øyeblikkelig tilfredsstillelse styrer deres perspektiv. Dette beslutningsskjemaet vil hjelpe dem med å sette ting i perspektiv.
La elevene brainstorme noen av sine egne beslutninger de har tatt nylig, eller de de vil møte snart. I denne aktiviteten vil studentene fylle ut malen og bryte ned sine egne beslutninger og hvordan de tok valget .

En oppfølgingsaktivitet til dette kan være å ha en "tenke-par-dele" -øvelse. Å la studentene reflektere over sine jevnaldrende beslutninger vil bidra til å bygge et "konsekvens først" tankemiljø, og de kan også være i stand til å hente inspirasjon fra hverandre.

Lag et storyboard som viser en beslutningsmodell for en reell eller forestilt beslutning.

- Skriv inn en mulig avgjørelse i senterets tittelfelt.
- Liste over det første trinnet i beslutningsmodellen i den øverste tittelfeltet og følgende trinn i resten av tittelfeltene.
- Lag et visuelt eksempel på hvert trinn ved å bruke en kombinasjon av passende scener, karakterer og elementer.
- Beskriv kort hva som foregår i hver celle i beskrivelsesboksene.
