Ponyboy was leaving the movie theater, he watching a movie with Paul newman, he always loved watching movies and reading books and drawing.
He was wondering if he could have waited until his brother Darry could have picked him up after the movie because walking alone at nignt and being a greaser is dangerous.
He saw some Socs coimg near gim and he knew he was in danger and he was looking for a pop to use as a weapon.
It was no use he couldnt find anything and he wished he could have his brothers to protect him.
"Hey greaser, we are going to do you a favor, we are going to cut off all that greasy hair" the Socs said.
My brother Sodapop saved me and the Socs ran away before they killed me.
