- cyrus worked in New York when we was 15 by 20 he was a succesful paper merchant. Using the funding from his job he decided to start the ambitious telegraph project.
- this is so much harder then I thought. I might just give up
- while making the telegraphy project cyrus faced a lot of challenges those being, frequent cable breakages,signal loss and the difficulty of laying cable thought the Atlantic ocean

- after 12 years of Cyrus trying to accomplish the telegraph project he finally made it happen in 1866 when great eastern successfully laid a permanent cable in the ocean
- Cyrus telegraph project allowed accelerated global trade,diplomacy,and culture exchanged which really benefited globalization
- thank you all for supporting me and helping me in this journey to make the whole world a better place.
- Cyrus legacy still lives through the global connection we have to this day. his work helped us with technologies and real time global communication that still helps us to this day
