- hello, my name is David, I am 13 and I work in the textile factory. my job is to work between heavy machinery and here is my day in a life

- in reach here at 5am, starving and start working. I fix all the machinery in the factory. my working conditions here are horrible. we work here 12 hours,6 days a week for minimum wage. there is no fresh air, fresh water and barely 1-2 apples a day. I am left starving throughout the day. because of the air I have severe asthma, my hands a fully bruised and one of my pinky finger is cut. the factory is also really dirty and it smells all the time. it has a lot of pollution inside it.
- I feel really sad and disheartened that I cannot go to school and learn, but I have to earn money for my family so I will whatever it takes to contribute.some challenges are that I have to go to work everyday even when I am sick or not feeling well. I feel really sad and angry at the owners but they are the one paying me so I can't complain otherwise they will fire me and my family.

- this is my work place. pretty horrible, right? but my living conditions aren't much better. my house is full of dirt and we have to sleep on just 2 mattresses. me, my brother and my sister sleep on one. we barely have any food, and the only time we get to eat is when my father hunts some meat. I think these modern inventions and machines have totally changed the society. it has made social classes like the owners are at the top, then comes the doctors and engineers and finally my family and 90% of the population the peasants. this system is beyond my imagination and makes me angry all the time
- these innovations have also made the country better, everybody has more money, and we can make products faster and better.This gives us more work and responsibilities. but I think this change will have a really positive impact on the future. we will be able to travel across states in days, we can have more food faster, we can talk across cities through telephones and will modernise the world into a better business place. the country is becoming more aware and trades are becoming better. overall, I feel that if labourers and slaves like us get more rights and freedom these innovations can have a great positive impact on the world and will change the way of life forever. Thank this is David signing off and this was the day in my life
