Was Used for commercial and industrial purposes.
Also was home to fighter planes and bombers like the F-4 phantom.
Served as a training center for the Korean War and Vietnam war.and today it remains abandoned
It's important to document physical ruins because it's always nice to recognize building or places that were popular or historic even though they might not exist anymore.
This is the abandoned hospital at George Air Force base.
This shot explains how the inside of the building of the hospital used to look in comparison to now since it's been abandoed
I think my personal connection to this abandoned building is it was a very historic place that was helpful to people especially during the war.

The abandoned Cemetary I choose to write about in in Pomona called Spadra Cemetary
It is very historic and the last burying there was in the 1960's. Now it is abandoned.
I decided to add this place into my photo essay because I think it's important to know the history behind this place and even though I might not add it to the final draft I think I it's nice to learn about for its history and memories.
