  • الانزلاق: 1
  • We all know that the Earth lies on an axis and is tilted at about 23 degrees. This causes the two hemispheres of the Earth, North and South, to get different amounts of heat. When the Northern Hemisphere is tilted to the Sun, it is summer time, because there is more direct sunlight and therefore there are longer days. However, the Southern Hemisphere experiences winter, because there is less direct sunlight and therefore there are shorter days. This also reverses when the Southern Hemisphere is tilted toward the Earth. The tilt of the Earth changes the angle of sunlight and length of days, which changes the climate and seasons.
  • الانزلاق: 2
  • There are also two Equinoxes, called the Spring and Fall Equinoxes, which are when the two hemispheres are receiving about the same amount of sunlight. The Spring Equinox happens in March 21, and the Fall Equinox happens in September 21.
  • However, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, the region near the equator gets a lot of sunlight throughout the year. For this region, there is only two seasons; the wet and dry seasons. The wet seasons happens because of the monsoon winds and the atmosphere, and the dry season happens because the Sun is at its hottest and brightest for that region.
  • الانزلاق: 3
  • Also, the Arctic and Antarctic sometimes last in complete brightness or darkness. This is also because of the Earth's tilt. During the summer for the Arctic, it is in daylight for many days, and for Antarctic, it is always in darkness. This inverses when the Southern Hemisphere is in its summertime.
