However, they didnt recieve as much pay as a white solider so they halted momentarily, and then began to fight in war on Fort Wagner,including around 500 battles,

- 1.The union forces left behind a ship that the confederates captured, reinforced it into an ironclad, and called it the Merrimac. Soon enough, the Union replicated this and fought out between their two ironclads and began making more of them.
- 2.Inorder to stop the North from expanding, the confederates captured Vicksburg and defended it for a while until the Union captured it for good. However, after these bloody series of wars the South suffered of famines, economic breakdowns, and more.

- Through the many battles of the Civil War, the Union won the war in the end and then eventually made Lee surrender in the Appomattox court house and subsequently after ended the war with the North, resulting in a final peace between them..
