- Odysseus was born into a noble family. We learned that he was a king. This fits the Noble birth category because he is a king. (Homer 1104)

- I am well known for my cunning and bravery!!!!!
- It is said that Odysseus is a "Man skilled in all ways of contending" (Homer 1104). This shows that he is a very skilled man. He is intellectual and brave. That falls into the category.

- Odysseus has been stuck traveling for years and years. This falls in the category because he has been going through unfamiliar land and journeys for awhile. (Homer 1104)
- Odysseus fought in the war of Troy and was an amazing warrior. It is said that "he plundered the stronghold on the proud height of Troy."(Homer 1104) This shows how he is a great warrior.
- Odysseus was trapped in a cave by the cyclops,Polyphemus. He had to battle and outsmart him to get away. He came up with a plan to escape and he followed through with it. This shows how he battled a great supernatural being and won. (Homer 1119)
