- papa, grew sick and was rushed to the hospital.

- After a week of confinement, the doctors advised that he continue his medication at home. When they arrived, the very first words Papa said were, “Where is my Inday? And Marloy?” He was looking for me and my little brother. When he saw me, he hugged me tightly. After that, he went to his manokan and gently touched his chickens, as if saying goodbye.

- Ppp-a, ppaa!
- Are you okay now, Papa?

- Two days after returning home, Death came again I was outside, wandering around like any child, when it happened. When I came home, Mama was crying from the depths of her soul, shouting “HELP! HELP!” I stood there, frozen and confused. Neighbors rushed into our house—some demanding, others suggesting what should be done. Everything felt loud and chaotic. I don’t remember much after that because everything was blurry. All I could recall was Papa being rushed back to the hospital, commotion in front of our house, and whispers spreading:
- He will not survive this this time
