- The Judicial Branch- They had major power because of Checks and Balances- It separated power through the government so one person didn't only have power and more people had a say in what was going on.
- The executive branch- This branch isn't only the president. They have many roles in the government and in the world.
- All the branches have a say in the laws being pass, this is called Separation Of Power.
- Legislative Branch-Can over ride a press VETO*, disagreeingo to a law. Confirms executive appointments, also can impeach and remove a president
- This is ran under a government system called,Federalism. This was decided during the Constitutional Convention.
- Connecticut compromise- The Connecticut compromise provided equal representation in the senate and proportional representation in The House of representatives.
- The trade compromise- Slaves could be traded but it couldn't be taxed.
- 3/5 Compromise - The 3/5 compromise said that 3/5 of the slave population would be counted for determining the taxation and representation in the House of Representatives.
- William Patterson constructed a plan, The New Jersey plan. The New Jersey plan gave a unicameral legistlater

- James Madison was the first to Recommend a 3 branch government.
- The Amendment process was also a very influence event. The amendment process stated that a amendment may be passed through either by congress(with 2/3 majority vote). in both The House of representatives and the Senate, or it could be done by a 2/3 vote in the state legislatores.
