- Welcome to the Senate Judiciary Committee! There are three parts to our process of determining the competence and eligibility of a Presidential Nominee to serve on the Supreme court: 1. Vetting 2. First Hearing 3. Committee Vote
- During the vetting process, the committee authorizes the nominees credentials, and performs a full background history gathering information on previous work records, finances, past legal decisions, and their history.
