- This is way to much work for us. Lets get slaves from Africa
- These is settlers coming to America. They had a long 2-4 month journey. Some people got sick and sometimes they hardly made it.
- Trade in Africa
- In 1606, Jamestown was the first permanent English settleemnt. They struggeled with many diseases, attacks from native americans and laziness
- Life on a Boat
- I wish they would kill me now.
- They farmed for a little bit then they realized it was to much for them between everything else they had to do. So they brought in slaves to do the work for them.
- Life as an African
- This all sucks
- In Africa there were lots of wars going on. English settlers traded for Captured Africans from rival tribes.
- On the boat life was hard. They had horrible hygyne and some tried to end it all. They hardly ever got time on deck. Their backs would get scratched by wood.
- We are never going to see our home again.
- Slaves ended up being used and treated as property. They harvested farms and had very rough lives. They were treated unfairly 24/7
