- This story revolves around Miss Adela Strangeworth, who is entitled and loves the roses that she grows outside of her home. She feels as if she runs the town and it might fall apart without her.
- Miss Strangeworth went to the store to chat with some friends and pick up some things. She realizes that everyone seems down and off today. Miss Strangeworth talks polite but speaks rudely about them to herself.
- POST OFFICE
- Miss Strangeworth is not who the people in the town think she is. She has been writing mean nasty letters to the people in her town anonymously for the past year. She talks to the people in her town and gets information to write letters to them. She dosent write them on her normal paper or normal stationary. She thinks she is doing the right thing.
- Miss Strangworth decides to take her letters to the town mail office before dark so no one will see her with the letters.
- Little does Miss Strangeworth know, she dropped one of her letters. Henery finds it and looks to see its delivered for Mr. Crane so he decides he might as well deliver it for her.
- The next day, Miss Strangeworth felt unusally happy but she seen something weird in her mail pile, like her letter got sent back to her. she read it and went outside to find her most presious roses destroyed.
