After the long day of checking people out, Marlee counted the money she made this week, and she realized she made a lot of profit. She could spend money on buying supplies for the store, and still have some left over for her personal use!
There were a few more weeks of this chaos and large profit. However, a month or so later, she noticed all her usual customers stopped coming by. Marlee was curious so she walked across the street to another boutique.

After walking down to the other boutique, Marlee realized that they had dropped their prices in order to compete with her. All her customers were leaving for the cheaper prices. Thats when she realized, she needed to lower some of her cost even if that risked less profit.
