- The Three Estates system divided people into 3 estate that determined rights and taxes. The First and Second estate didn't have to pay taxes but the Third Estate did (the lower class)

- Yes! My castle looks too bland I can't stand it!
- Our castle needs more expensive furniture! We need gold everywhere!
- What about our food shortages, high prices, and unemployment!
- There were a lot of finical crisis in 1787-1788. King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette spent a bunch of money on luxury items instead of caring about the food shortages, high prices, and unemployment

- The prices are too high!
- In the 1780s, the price of bread/food, bad harvests, and food shortages lead many people to starve and to death. There was a rise to taxes and prices which meant it was hard for families to survive.
