- Not at all. All that matters in this country is money. What's the point of buying a house when we don't got the money to upkeep it??
- Dad...I'm not sure a house makes a man. I just want to find out who I really am.

- Ruth! Wait!
- Is this house for sale? My family has been saving. A house means we finally MADE it!
- Or maybe it's just a building..
- See? This young man understands! A house is everything, Biff!

- Exactly! My father worked his whole life and never owned anything. I won't let that happen to me.

- Walter, I think we want the house for different reasons. And that's okay.
- This house is my family's chance. It means we belong here. That nobody can push us aside.
