- The Miller is swindling citizens out of their full amount of flour and other materials. The warden granted us permission to go and set the miller straight and solve this wrongdoing.
- John and Allen proceeded across the country side on their way to the Miller's residence
- John and Allen arrive at the Miller's and proceed to his house and confront him.
- The miller is pleased to see John and Allen as they bring their goods to him.
- John and Allen announce their attention to watch the grain being ground. The miller promises himself that he'll manage to cheat them away.
- The miller invites John and Allen to drink while their grain is milled. They become so drunk they ask to spend the night at the miller's house and bed down with the family in their shared sleeping quarters.
- The three soon became so drunk they fell asleep in the dining room prior to retreating to the family sleeping quarters.
- The men enter the families sleeping quarters and set their plan into action.
- Allen enters the daughters bed. She does not realize until they he is having sex with her.
- The miller's wife gets up to use the bathroom, John then moves the crib to his bed. She comes back feels the crib and enters in the bed with John.
- Allen is discovered by the daughter and enters the bed with the miller because the crib is at the other bed.
- Allen then tells the miller who he thinks is John "thrice this short night, swyved the miller's daughter."
- The miller becomes outraged and yells, his wife begins beating Allen with a club.
- John and Allen grab their bread and flour and run out the house getting their horses and returning to the university.
- They return safely to the university with their goods safe and sound.
