- Hello! my name is Traevon, I am an ice molecule.
- My purpose here today is to tell you how I change phases. So, without any more time wasted, lets gets started
- This is me as an Ice molecules, ice molecules don't move at all
- This is because they have no energy that's why they are cold. They are a solid and they're molecules move in place.
- I changed phase when the sun started to give energy to my molecules. That means I would be getting more kinetic energy, and sooner or later my molecular attraction will not be enough, and I'll change phase!
- If my molecules didn't have energy how did I change phase?
- This is called melting. After this change I became a Liquid.
- It is also very nice to be able to flow.
- Being a liquid molecule is totally fine, you just move around your partners. You can take the shape of everything you're in
- The next thing that happened to me, was that I changed Phase once again!
- This made my and my pals condensate and evaporate, which means we turned in to stuff like clouds.
- I changed to the last phase of the three, Gas! I became a gas molecule when the sun added heat to me
- As a gas molecules all we really do is bounce off around each other (my fellow gas molecules). Also, you are not visible at all as gas.
