- Zeus found her hidden and had a child with her. That child was Perseus.

- The King desperate to keep his life, threw his daughter and grandson in a chest and threw it into the ocean. He did this to kill them and avoid the wrath of the gods.

- A fisherman named Dictys found them. He brought them to his home. He and his wife took care of them and Dictys taught Perseus the fisherman's trade.

- Perseus was sent by the King of the island, Dictys' brother, who was a cruel man. A man who wanted Danae, Perseus's mother. The King didn't want Perseus so he sent him to the Gorgons, including Medusa to have him killed. With the help of Hermes and Athena he was able to kill Medusa

- Perseus used Medusa's head to save a girl he fell in love with, Andromada. He used Medusa's head to turn the monster into stone.

- After the kings death, Perseus named Dictys the new king.

- Perseus's grandfather was struck by a disk during the athletic competition and died immediately.
