You did what?! Mom you know I hate dance. I don't want to go. Im horrible at dancing.
As a kid my mom always signed me up for various dance and acting classes but dance just wasn't for me. Al I wanted to do was play sports.
Quinn I signed you up for tap dance and jazz dance. It will be a good experience for you.
I don't want to dance. Im so bad at dance. I just want to go home.

I always dreaded dancing because I am so uncoordinated and I always embarrassed myself.
It sucked. I couldn't do any of the moves. All the other girls were so much better.

As a kid I played hockey,softball,tennis and basketball. I spent all of my free time playing sports or at least I wished I could.
Quinn we are going to do a scrimmage today. I expect a goal out of you.
Im so happy that I can finally play my favorite sport. I love scrimmages they prepare me for the game.
Hockey practice was amazing. I scored two goals in the scrimmage. I love hockey.
If my mom knew that I loved sports why did she sign me up for dance. Why did she want me to experience something that I didn't enjoy.

I realized that I didn't like when my mom forced me into "girly" activities. I told her I didn't like it and now I play multiple sports such as basketball, softball, and soccer.
