- There once was a family sitting inside of their home with no way to cool down. It was a hot summer day, where even the mosquitoes didn't want to come out Jamie,Jesse and Hayden were sitting all day thinking of ways they could cool down and suddenly Jamie jumped up and said,“We could go to the community pool and go swimming.”
- At first His mom, Clara, said no because she didn't feel like going anywhere. So the kids were begging to go then finally after begging for about 30 minutes they gave in and she told them all to get in the car.
- They were scrambling to find their things, and Jesse was helping Jamie find his phone when he got a text that said, “You better not be at the pool.” thought someone was just messing with him, so after they all got in the car and got to the pool he stepped out and immediately wanted to go home, only because he saw the kid that messes with him, Devin.

- His brothers had to convince him to stay and hang out with them instead of going home. Jamie decided he will just stay as far away from him as he can, so he did for a long time. Until Devin was at the slide Jamie wanted to go on. He toughened up and went over there and Devin only looked at him and said, “hey loser.”
- Jamie just kept walking,ignored it, and went down the slide. When he got back above the water, there was Devin again, holding Jamies phone in his hand and said “ I got your phone.” Jamie was full of anger and in a hurry, he got out of the pool to grab his phone back when suddenly one of Devins other friends shoved him back into the pool. Jamie flew backwards and his head slammed against the side of the slide.
- He wasn't coming back up at this time. Jamie's dad saw him in the water not moving. He ran and jumped in to save him. He pulled him up and he realized he was unconscious.They called the ambulance and when they got there, they asked what happened, but instead of the truth Jamie's brother just said he fell in instead of Devins friend pushing him into the pool.
