(smiling faintly, continuing her knitting) Is that so? Science has many wonders, it seems.
(cheerfully) Grandmother, today at school we learned about the laws of gravity!
Scene 1- Grandmother’s room. The grandmother, old and frail, is sitting on her bed, knitting. Her grandson, Khushwant Singh, enters the room, his face glowing with excitement from his day at school.*

(her smile fading slightly) Hmm... And what about your prayers and scriptures? Did you have time for those?
(hesitating) Well... we don't really study scriptures at school anymore. We have different subjects now, like mathematics, science, and English.
SCENE 2- Grandmother stops Knitting with slight disappointment and ask Khushwant about his prayers and scriptures..

(a silent disapproval in her eyes) I see. Times have changed.
(trying to cheer her up) But it's really interesting, Grandmother! We're learning so many new things. And I can still pray at home.
(her voice softer) Yes, my child. As long as you remember to keep your faith close.
SCENE-3 Khushwant Singh is Trying to cheer Grandmother as she is not happy with his curriculum
