- The British approached the Cherokee, They told them that if they did not become friends with the French , They would protect them. The British did not want the French and the Cherokee to become friends because They did not want them to turn on them.

- then the french and indian war broke out. they call it the french and indian war but really it was a war witht the french and the british.

- the french get to the Cherokee and the british did not protect them like they promised to. the cherokee were annoyed and felt betrayed. but you cant blame them they ddi just have 30 years of peace and that was all down the drain now
- When the american/ british settlers cam in to there land and they started to takr therer land they got mad so the cherokee got angery and started to retalaite
- The cherokke fought witht the british and they lost the battle they ended up lousing there land and haveing to move to another area.
