  • The Governor of New England is taking bribes from people. This should go in the newspaper!!
  • This is John Peter Zenger at his house writing the newspaper
  • John is getting arrested in the town.
  • OH NOOOOOOOO!
  • John Peter Zenger you are being arrested on the account of criticizing the governor.
  • Johns attorney saying that he agrees with him/ that the governor is doing the wrong things.
  • Can someone help me get out of here? I need a lawyer! Why am I in here if I did nothing wrong?
  • I'll be your lawyer, I don't think that you did anything wrong John.

  • John Peter Zenger is on trial for criticizing the Governor.He said that the governor was taking bribes
  • But people should be able to say what they feel. 
  • John won the trial and is a free man
